Spring Clean-Up (Update)

in AAA, community events, recycling, trash

Due to a VDOT inspection on the county roads this week we were notified by VDOT today that we can’t place the roll off container as scheduled this week near the entrance to the townhomes for your larger bulk items.

AAA will be accommodating the community by removing any Bulk/Junk items on the regular TRASH DAY curbside next to your trash cans.  As normal, AAA will not remove the following: Rocks, concrete, dirt, mulch, tires, soil, sod, tree stumps, paint, motor oil, construction trash/renovation debris, combustibles, toxic or hazardous wastes, or any other material excluded from the disposal site, or any applicable state or federal law, as being hazardous or toxic.  As well as flammable products, dead animals, fecal matter, manure, brick, landscaping timbers, friable asbestos, lead acid/wet cell batteries, bio-hazardous material, needles, and other medical waste.

AAA will also be running a trash truck and Appliance/Metal truck through on Tuesday, May 17th.  The trash truck will remove whatever items are placed at the curb at no extra cost to you to assist in your spring cleaning efforts.  Thank you.
